  • PILGRIMAGE TO ROME AND ASSISI 2026

    Saturday 21st - Saturday 28 November 2026


    It looks as if November is going to be the best time financially to fit our Rome and Assisi pilgrimage together.

    The above dates are provisionally booked with our hotels and flight timetables from Stansted (Manchester) verified.

    Prices will be confirmed as soon as there is viable interest.

    If you are interested please advise us as soon as possible as places are going to be limited (36 in total).

    The deposit, once details are confirmed, will be £500 to secure a place. Already 11 people have contacted us.


    Additional costs not included in the above price are drinks and snacks during the days of our pilgrimage. If there is sufficient interest we shall arrange a coach trip around Rome and the basilicas with the additional cost to be advised when in Rome.


    Travel Insurance. This is the responsibility and a condition for each person travelling with us. It is very important that you arrange this immediately you book and pay your deposit. More insurance information is on the booking form conditions (form available on request), along with details regarding Europe’s EES registration for travel.

  • PILGRIMAGES UPDATE

    Since Fr John's death in March of 2024 we have been exploring where we can continue to take people (see above). As soon as further dates and venues for 2025/6 are decided they will be advertised here and also through our Community News, which is published each week.


    Important to Note that a requirement  for all who would like to travel with us is that they are up-to-date with all the Covid vaccinations available to them.  There will also be other considerations and these will be given on the booking form.

IMPORTANT NOTE RE TRAVEL INSURANCE: The pilgrimage hotels we use have been very helpful in holding provisional places whilst we explore travel options and secure interest. Given the uncertainty of the pandemic years, it is understandable that some hotels now require an earlier deposit than previously and we shall have to incorporate this into the deposit we ask for.  We advise all who book to travel with us arrange their own travel insurance on booking, and read carefully the small print as regards possible cancellation should the unforeseen happen.

"TWILIGHT" RETREATS : These were led by Fr John Daley and unfortunately, since his death, cannot continue, although work is being done on consolidating recordings of the retreats into online presentations. See our Lord's Day pages for more information, when it becomes available.
