  • PILGRIMAGE 'Holy Year in Rome'- November 2025

    Friday 21 - Thursday 27 November 2025


    APPROXIMATE PRICE EACH PERSON

    for Shared Room £1,120 : for Single Room £1,475

    The price includes travel from Leicester (Syston) to Rome, via Air (Stansted/Ciampino) and coach transfers to

    and from airports (leaving ‘early’ hours on the 21 November); 6 nights bed and breakfast at our usual hotel (which is a 5 minute walk from St Peter’s and Vatican City); Evening meals at a local restaurant, Rome’s city tax; And an optional guided itinerary, walking the streets of Rome.

    Also, dependent on the Pope’s timetable, we hope to attend his Sunday Mass (or ‘Angelus’) and Jubilee Audience (no cost).


    Additional costs not included in the above price are drinks and snacks during the days of our pilgrimage. If there is sufficient interest we shall arrange a coach trip around Rome and the basilicas (and ‘open’ Holy Year doors)

    with the additional cost to be advised when in Rome.


    Travel Insurance. This is the responsibility and a condition for each person travelling with us. It is very important that you arrange this immediately you book and pay your deposit. More insurance information is on the booking form conditions (form available on request), along with details regarding Europe’s EES registration for travel.

  • PILGRIMAGES UPDATE

    Since Fr John's death in March of 2024 we have been exploring where we can continue to take people. It is looking promising but, as yet, there are no confirmed dates. As soon as dates and venues for 2024/25 are decided they will be advertised here and also through our Community News, which is published each week.


    Important to Note that a requirement  for all who would like to travel with us is that they are up-to-date with all the Covid vaccinations available to them.  There will also be other considerations and these will be given on the booking form.

IMPORTANT NOTE RE TRAVEL INSURANCE: The pilgrimage hotels we use have been very helpful in holding provisional places whilst we explore travel options and secure interest. Given the uncertainty of the pandemic years, it is understandable that some hotels now require an earlier deposit than previously and we shall have to incorporate this into the deposit we ask for.  We advise all who book to travel with us arrange their own travel insurance on booking, and read carefully the small print as regards possible cancellation should the unforeseen happen.

"TWILIGHT" RETREATS : These were led by Fr John Daley and unfortunately, since his death, cannot continue, although work is being done on consolidating recordings of the retreats into online presentations. See our Lord's Day pages for more information, when it becomes available.
