We received a notification to
vacate the building from the Diocese of Nottingham as from 30.09.2024
Our online gift shop, continues to make available all that our Centre's Shop did have in stock, including our own published items and thousands of religious resources (cards, books, gifts, statues, rosaries, various sacramental gifts, music, pictures, etc.) from the various Catholic and Christian suppliers we ourselves order from.
Our Watermead Publishing online shop is still also available for all items that we produce and publish ourselves.
Please do phone us or use the contact us page on this web site if you have any queries. With our various contacts and suppliers we should be able to guide you to source whatever is required.
Below are slides showing a selection of the displays held in our shop and although the shop itself has been broken up the slides do give an glimpse of some of the items we made available and which can still be ordered through us online.
The Watermead Centre is located at the back of St Joseph’s Church car park and comprises our offices, shop, therapy room and publishing centre. The building was originally the first St Joseph’s church on this site known to the community as the “Old Stable Church” and was refurbished as the Watermead Centre in 2005.
Holistic Therapies and Footcare
Until the Covid-19 pandemic our Centre had made available holistic therapies through its Therapy Room. Unfortunately these can no longer happen because of modifications made. We are grateful to those who have over the years provided these services to us, especially -

Sharon
, a Reflexologist (Mar, dip) and Metamorphic Technique Practitioner. Sharon was and still is a registered member of the Association of Reflexologists and of the Metamorphic Association. Sharon is still practising from various venues and if you would like to get in touch with her do click on her photo and contact her direct.
Julie
our “Heel to Toe” Foot Care Practitioner (MCFHP MAFHP) did resume her regular clinics when we were able to open up our centre after Covid, but with limited clients. She retired in February 2024, but, like Sharon is still very much part of our Watermead family.
